So i posted these questions on my FB status. I thought that would be an appropriate way to go about this. also i got multiple responses!
Hello. I have to ask some questions to someone about social media, so i thought posting it on fb would be fitting. message me some answers if you dont mind!
1 Do you consider yourself a consumer of digital media?
2 What types of media do you usually consume daily?
3 why do you use those sites/media?
4 Do you post any media that you have created on the internet?
5 What do you expect media usage will look like in the future?
6 How far do you think our media and technology will go within our lifetime?
7 Do you fear future tech? or embrace it?

1 Do you consider yourself a consumer of digital media?
Yes, I am a huge consumer of digital media.
2 What types of media do you usually consume daily?
Does Facebook count? Pinterest, for work I constantly check ESPN, although I do not have a Tv I am always on my computer watching all my shows (Gossip Girl, Sherlock, Vampire Diaries, Bones, etc...). On my phone I use the Instagram app as well to share all my photos.
3 why do you use those sites/media?
I am a social person, Facebook being the most used, I love being in touch with and knowing what is going on in the lives of people I am friends with and also with those that I am not (gossip much?). I like to be in know! As for Pinterest and Instagram, I really like to be able to share my photos and things that I like, even if no one is really paying attention, having that information out there is somehow, in a weird way-relaxing?
4 Do you post any media that you have created on the internet?
I have posted hundreds of photos on the internet, along with a few pieces of artwork from back in high school.
5 What do you expect media usage will look like in the future?
We will all be wired in. Literally. Our brains will somehow be hooked up and we will be able to surf the internet, talk on the phone and take picture through our eyes and ears (creepy)
6 How far do you think our media and technology will go within our lifetime?
I think it will advance a decent amount, but for some reason or another, people will bring back newspapers, books, home phones, and old-school cameras because that will be the style.
7 Do you fear future tech? or embrace it?
It is terrifying to think of what people even now are creating via technology behind closed doors, but I can not help myself-I will conform in the end.

1 Yes. 2 movies, tv, music, blogs, news. 3 entertainment, information, lolz, just cuz. 4 nope. not really creative. 5 no clue. 6 pretty far, we will hopefully have holographic tech, that would be awesome. 7 both, I can only keep up with a bit at a time.
